It’s an all-music inter-generational Shabbat experience with Visual T’filah (in lieu of Siddurim, all of the prayers are displayed on large screens). The Shabbat Service features participatory, contemporary melodies accompanied by keyboard, guitar and drum. Join Rabbi Cory Weiss, Cantorial Soloist Tara Abrams, Eleanor Rice, Ian Silver and Jacob Weiss for the true Kol Bo Shabbat Experience!

7:00 PM Musical Erev Shabbat services

 

Enjoy a special Shabbatini for the whole family. This Oneg Shabbat celebration offers a martini bar for the adults and “mocktinis” for the children. Live music accompanies hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity for everyone to mingle and socialize. The musicians move into the chapel for the start of services. Hazzan David Edwards leads the service with the musicians until they bring in Shabbat at which point the instruments stop but the singing continues. A great evening of music, martinis and mingling to put you in the mood for Shabbat!  No charge, but RSVP required by May 13. Contact shul for details.

Come together on the lawn to welcome Shabbat under the stars. Create a holy space at this outdoor service of singing, warmth, family and peace. Smell the spring blossoms, hear the joyous melodies, unwind from the week behind you as you lift your voice and join Cantor Simon Spiro for a musical Shabbat service that will have you singing and clapping, and experiencing the true loving atmosphere of a musical Shabbat. (In the event of inclement weather, this warm and beautiful service will take place just inside the glass doors.)

Grab a cup of fresh coffee, delicious pastries and kick off your day with some learning and discussion with Rabbi Aaron Flanzraich. Afterwards, being fully caffeinated, step into the Main Sanctuary and experience Shabbat Beth Sholom where Pitch Perfect meets Shabbat morning.  A unique Shabbat experience with the Rabbi, Cantor Moses and the Ruach Singers. This service will raise your voice, touch your heart and make you think — “Where the old turns into the new, and the new into the holy.” Kiddish following services.

It’s an intimate and exciting “Shabbat in the Round” with Cantor Simon Spiro and the sensational Beth Tzedec Singers. If you haven’t heard the sound of this unique a cappella group, now’s the time! You sing along while being enveloped with the lush harmonies that have made this group famous. Enjoy blending your voice with those all around you as Cantor Simon leads us through Chassidic nigunim, contemporary melodies and even Beach Boys harmonies. Kiddush following services.
