This was one of last year's most popular events, so we simply had to bring it back! Come celebrate some hotter-than-hot Big Band music -- the songs of Harry James, Artie Shaw and the "King of Swing" Benny Goodman, three Jewish Big Band leaders who influenced the sound of the their day. Bob DeAngelis and his Champagne Symphony Big Band will blow the roof off the joint on the liveliest night of Jewish Music Week in Toronto!
Often referred to as Canada’s own “King of Swing”, Bob DeAngelis has twice
won JUNO Awards, as well as the title “Jazz Clarinetist of the Year” from the
Canadian National Jazz Awards. One of Canada’s most popular bandleaders,
he has performed with the Champagne Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.
Bob's already extensive discography in both Jazz and Easy Listening genres
has been further expanded this year with his latest release "Swingin’ Again".
