PERFORMER BIO

Larry Green is an icon in the Toronto jazz world. Beginning with his own jazz show on CFNY-FM Toronto, Larry soon after syndicated his show Out of the Blue nationwide. In 2002 he became a daily host at Jazz FM91 where he also created his renowned program Jazzology. He has been an instructor for Humber College’s Broadcasting Program and is a recipient of “The National Jazz Broadcaster of the Year” award.

With recorded examples both classic and obscure, Larry Green introduces us to the music and backgrounds of nine great Jewish musicians who influenced and significantly affected the direction of jazz as we know it.
