Gala Evening Concert

Remembering Srul

Srul Irving Glick is one of Canada's most prominent and prolific composers, having written chamber, oratorio, orchestral, vocal and choral music, and brilliantly integrating Hebraic and classical composition techniques. At this very special concert marking the tenth  anniversary of his untimely death, Toronto's renowned violinist Moshe Hammer will be joined by pianist Valerie Tryon, harpist Judy Loman, clarinettist Anthony Thompson and the 14-piece Beth Tikvah Gala String Orchestra, to play selections from Glick's glorious instrumental works. An evening of beautiful music written by a beautiful man whose memory we honour tonight.
