Three Famed Cantors

Cantors Chaim Dovid Berson, Azi Schwartz, Mo Glazman

Music Director Robbie Grunwald

First time in Canada! Three Cantors who serve large Reform, Conservative and Orthodox synagogues in New York City share their harmonious journey through Jewish and Israeli music. With carefully crafted harmonies, drawing on an array of musical genres, accompanied by celebrated Canadian Composer/Producer Robbie Grunwald and a superb contemporary ensemble, these three tenor voices bring the songs of the Jewish people to life. Come enjoy a musical kaleidoscope of Broadway, Cantorial, gospel, jazz and folk. May these songs bring us together as one community to celebrate our spiritual home through music.

An internationally acclaimed Cantor and Chassidic music singer, Cantor Chaim Dovid Berson has performed at music festivals throughout the world. He recently released his debut album Ten Lanu Chaim. In July Berson will assume the pulpit at Kehillat Israel.

Cantor Azi Schwartz is the senior cantor of Park Avenue Synagogue and is a world-renowned vocal performer and recording artist. Cantor Schwartz represented the Jewish people at the multireligious service at the national September 11 Memorial. He plays the Cantor’s role in Richard Gere’s movie Norman.

Cantor Mo Glazman has performed throughout the world and was acclaimed by New York Jewish life as a “wonderful tenor and star attraction.” He has concertized at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the National Opera Center. He is the senior Cantor of Congregation Emanu-El NYC, the largest synagogue in the world.
