Two-Shekel Swing

Direct from Boston! Two-Shekel Swing is a four-piece Klezmer and Gypsy jazz band that plays a unique blend of Yiddish swing with shtetl nostalgia. They’ll have you clapping, stomping and singing along to some of your own favourites, reimagined with spirit, flair and a little schtick. A group of talented, youthful klezmorim, Two- Shekel Swing celebrates Yiddishkeit with a fresh energy that will thrill you!

Two-Shekel Swing is led by Yoni Avi Battat (fiddle, vocals) who has performed Jewish music for wide-ranging audiences in Lisbon, Tel Aviv, New York and beyond. The group features Jesse Chevan (drums), Travis Pullman (guitar) and David Chevan (upright bass). www.yonibattat.com
