PERFORMER BIO
The renowned Zamir Chorale of Boston was founded in 1969 by Dr. Joshua Jacobson, one of the world’s leading authorities on Jewish choral music. To date, Zamir has 21 recordings of Jewish liturgical pieces, major classical works, music of the Holocaust, newly commissioned compositions, and Israeli, Yiddish and Ladino folksongs.
