Beginning in the days of the pioneers, Hebrew songs and public sing-alongs (Shira beTsibur) were encouraged and supported by the establishment.  Join us for a compelling lecture by Cantor Benjamin Maissner, as he traces the journey and development of Israels popular song, with recordings, anecdotes, and yes, Shira beTzibur!
