PERFORMER BIO

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Mattan Klein studied at the Rubin Academy and graduated with honours from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Awards he’s earned for his original compositions include the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the USA Songwriting Competition. Mattan has performed on such prestigious stages as New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center in Washington. In 2016 Mattan was a featured soloist with the United Kingdom Jazz Flute Big Band, and his recordings have been received to critical acclaim.
