Peel Me A Grape: The Songs of Dave Frishberg

Ilana Waldston

Dave Frishberg is an American jazz pianist, composer and lyricist, whose songs are witty, sophisticated and wildly entertaining. In this most enjoyable hour, have a drink and a nosh as Ilana Waldston presents Frishberg’s more popular tunes, such as My Attorney Bernie and I’m Hip, as well as some of his lesser-known gems, both funny and poignant. If you know his work, you’ll love Ilana’s selections, and if you’re unfamiliar with Frishberg, you’ll become a lifelong fan. With Mark Kieswetter on piano and Ross MacIntyre on bass.
