Remembering Theodore Bikel

Mitch Smolkin

Theodore Bikel was an Austrian-American Jewish actor, folk singer, musician and composer. For decades audiences enjoyed his beautiful baritone voice and delightful stage personality. Sadly, Bikel passed away last summer and the world lost one of its foremost interpreters of Jewish music. Join us for this enchanting and meaningful hour, as Mitch Smolkin pays tribute to a beloved performer and his music.

Featuring award-winning pianist Nina Shapilsky.
