PERFORMER BIOS
Born in Buenos Aires, Ramon Tasat has a doctorate in vocal performance. He is the recipient of numerous awards, has published several books on Jewish musical subjects, and has many recordings to his credit including an album of Sefardic duets with celebrated singer Flory Jagoda. He currently serves as Hazzan in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Since 2003, Tibor Kovari has served as Hazzan and Music Director of Beth Tikvah Synagogue. With the help of Musica Beth Tikvah, he has organized successful yearly concert seasons to entertain and educate the members of the larger Jewish Community. He has performed in concerts across Israel, Europe and North America, and is a Past-President of the Toronto Council of Hazzanim.
Natasha Hirschhorn studied in Moscow and Kiev, and has received critical acclaim as composer, arranger, vocalist and pianist. Natasha has recorded many CDs, five with Ramon Tasat. She is a Vice-President of Shalshelet and currently serves as Hazzan in New York City.

Join us for a wonderful song-filled evening, featuring a rich tapestry of Jewish music from the Mediterranean to the Middle East. Hear some of the greatest liturgical, Ladino, folk and modern Mizrachi style songs, interpreted by three distinctive cantors – Ramon Tasat, Natasha Hirschhorn and Toronto’s own Tibor Kovari. These three talents present superb renditions of this most exotic and beautiful music, accompanied by the Beth Tikvah Sefarad Musical Ensemble.
