The Ault Sisters are a vocal jazz trio known for their signature close harmonies, reminiscent of such past vocal groups as The Manhattan Transfer, The Andrews Sisters, and The McGuire Sisters. Merna and Claire Barry were popular American Yiddish jazz singers from the 1940s to the 1970s. Performing on TV, radio and international stages, the Barry Sisters brought glamour and American swing to traditional Yiddish songs. Now Toronto’s own Ault Sisters share a glittering hour of Barry Sisters favourites. This musical trio adds a third harmony line to the classic Barry Sisters repertoire and, sharing the pure vocal blend of sisters, they will delight you with every note they sing!
