Cantor Beny Maissner is back! This time he’s sharing everything you want to know about Hallel, the beautiful psalms which we recite on joyous festivals and Rosh Chodesh. With live demonstrations, Cantor Maissner will explore the wide variety of Hallel music throughout the centuries - from the rich choral traditions and community singing, to authentic Chazzanut of the Golden Age of the Cantorate.

Cantor Benjamin Maissner of Holy Blossom Temple is a master of styles ranging from Jewish Renaissance and early Hebrew Art Music to contemporary Canadian, American and Israeli compositions. He has served on the executive board of the Cantors Assembly (Conservative) and as Vice President of the American Conference of Cantors (Reform).
