Aaron Copland Piano Music
Adam Sherkin
Millennial pianist Adam Sherkin returns to Jewish Music Week after his popular Live from Zoomer Hall performance in 2015. Now, this mega-talented musician brings us an hour of exquisite piano music by Aaron Copland, whose compositions are considered to be “the sound of American music.” This Jewish composer from Brooklyn gave us the ballets Appalachian Spring and Billy the Kid, as well as Fanfare for the Common Man. Here is your chance to enjoy his iconic sound performed by a piano virtuoso!
