You will be enthralled, educated, and captivated in this morning session about Jewish music of antiquity. With recorded demonstrations, Cantor Maissner will present to us early Hebrew Art Music of the 12th – 18th centuries. Some familiar, some surprises, and all of it fascinating!

Cantor Benjamin Maissner of Holy Blossom Temple is a master of styles ranging from Jewish Renaissance and early Hebrew Art Music to contemporary Canadian, American and Israeli compositions. He has served on the executive board of the Cantors Assembly (Conservative) and as Vice President of the American Conference of Cantors (Reform).
