​The joint is jumpin’ as the lively Montcrest Swing Band makes its Jewish Music Week debut! This dynamic community swing band will have you tapping your feet to well-known tunes written by or made famous by Jewish Big Band leaders and Jewish songwriters of the 1940s and 1950s. Get ready for a fantastic hour of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Richard Rodgers and more of your favourites from the Big Band era!

The Montcrest Swing Band has been entertaining audiences throughout the GTA since 2002. They have performed at Roy Thomson Hall and have also brought their happy sound and spirit to the Port Hope Jazz Festival, Sunnybrook Hospital, Baycrest Atrium and Terrace, the Ontario Science Conference, The Badminton and Racquet Club as well as fundraisers for many organizations.
