The Songs of The Pianist

Wendy Lands

Wladyslaw Szpilman was the pianist/composer whose compelling story was told in the Oscar-winning film, The Pianist. After surviving the Holocaust, Szpilman resumed his career as the head of Polish Radio in Warsaw and as a prolific composer and songwriter. Chosen by Szpilman’s son to record his father’s songs on the film’s companion CD, Wendy Lands now shares the stunning results of this collaboration, singing the songs of Szpilman!
