Tin Pan Alley’s Cantors’ Sons: Berlin & Arlen

Jordana Talsky

It’s not a secret that many of Tin Pan Alley’s songwriters were Jewish, but it’s interesting to note that two—Irving Berlin and Harold Arlen—were actually the children of Cantors! Meet us for a drink and a nosh as jazz singer Jordana Talsky explores the exquisite and timeless songs—now jazz standards—of these Great American Songbook writers.

With Scott Metcalfe, piano.
